Bad Kleinkirchheim region
From December 6, 2020 until the end of the season in April 2021, there will be a fixed daily Covid19 test station in Bad Kleinkirchheim in the Brechlstubn, Maibrunnenweg 13. Guests, locals and sponsored professional groups such as hotels, restaurants and ski schools will be tested there. This test station and the Covid19 hotline came about on the initiative of the newly founded “Safe Winter in Bad Kleinkirchheim” task force. The test station is operated by the specialist laboratory Novogenia (official laboratory of the Carinthian state government) together with the company Mobiler Covid Test Service (MCTS). The task force from Bad Kleinkirchheim was able to put together an interesting and affordable testing program for guests and locals with guarantees and a weekend service. The PCR test result is sent to the person tested within 24 hours via SMS. A PCR test costs 85 euros and the rapid antigen test (15 minutes) 34.80 euros. Compared to other providers, these prices and the service are unbeatable.
Mountain railroads
- Signage & information points on the Code of Conduct throughout the ski area.
- Wearing a face mask is mandatory in appropriately marked areas (ticket office area, boarding area, cable car cabins).
- Regardless of the current legal requirements, the queuing areas are organized in such a way that groups of people standing close together are avoided as far as possible.
The “Helping Hands” provide support and tips about the ski area at the same time. - There are various ways to obtain ski passes – online, via the hotel reception or at a ticket machine at the Kaiserburg valley station and the valley station of the Brunnach biosphere park cable car.
- Hand disinfection facilities are installed in the indoor area of the cable cars and the toilet facilities.
- A reduction in the maximum permitted number of passengers in the cable car cabins or chairlifts is not legally binding; the permitted capacities will not be utilized if the number of passengers is correspondingly low. An MNS must always be worn in the gondola lifts.
- The cable car cabins are ventilated downhill by opening the sliding windows.
- All cable car, sanitary and toilet facilities, first aid rooms and staff lounges are disinfected daily using cold fogging.
- Employees who come into contact with guests are instructed to wear an MNS and gloves.
- All employees of the Group (cable cars, Thermal Römerbad, administration) are tested weekly for Covid-19.
